These 2 hormones interfere with the normal menstrual cycle to prevent ovulation. Taken daily pills they in two types combined estrogen and progestin and progestin only pills .

the vagina, coated with spermicide to kill sperm.
. Intrauterine Devices (IUDs)
IUDs are small devices inserted into
the uterus to prevent pregnancy. There are two types:
Copper IUD (Non-hormonal): Uses copper to create a toxic environment for sperm,
preventing fertilization, effective for up to 10 years.
Hormonal IUD: Releases
progestin to thicken cervical mucus and inhibit sperm movement, effective for 3
to 7 years.
. Natural Methods
These methods rely on understanding
the woman’s menstrual cycle and avoiding sex on days when she is most fertile.
Fertility Awareness Methods:
Tracking ovulation through body temperature, cervical mucus, or cycle calendar
to avoid sex on fertile days.
Withdrawal (Pulling Out): The male partner withdraws the
penis from the vagina before ejaculation, though it's less reliable due to
